Thoughts on Sumo

I look at this picture and I think "This will not end well" and I also think "If I were there, I would not be behind him"


I sure hope somebody has a bucket and a mop and a whole lot of hot soapy water.

I got to go to a big sumo wrestling match in Japan last year. It was crazy, mostly because they spend far more time announcing the next match than they actually spend wrestling. It went on for 8 hours but each match wasn't more than 30 seconds. Very interesting.

I have never been to Japan or seen a real Sumo wrestling match. Someday I'd like to do both. That's interesting to hear about the length of the match vs the length of the entire even.

My sophomoric comments aside, it was nice to get a little education on this stuff.
